Clone Troopers

Clone Troopers were an army of soldiers created by the Galactic Republic to protect the galaxy from potential threats. After Jedi Master Sifo Dyas had a vision of an Evil Empire, he commissioned Kaminoan cloners to create a clone army for the Republic's use. The original template for all clones was provided by bounty hunter Jango Fett. Due to their accelerated growth, hundreds of thousands of clones could be fully mature by the time they were needed.

The Clone Troopers served the Republic with great success and courage until Darth Sidious ordered them to execute Order 66, resulting in the extermination of the Jedi Order. After that, most clone troopers were decommissioned and replaced with recruits, while some of the older ones were kept to help train the recruits before they were decommissioned.
